Required qualification and experience: A relevant 3 year degree/diploma. 7 year's relevant Enterprise Risk Management experience plus 2 year's management experience.
The incumbent will be responsible to manage, develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management within Telkom.
The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:
Abilityassist in leading, facilitating and advising departments in designing risk management programs within their own departments
develop and implement systems, policies and procedures for the identification, collection and analysis of risk related information
develop and implement the organisation's risk management program according to mission and strategic goals
educate and train the leadership, staff and business associates according the risk management program
research and implement international best practice
revise policies and procedures on an annual basis
serve as an advisor to senior management in areas of asset / liability, credit, operational and compliance
assist in directing compliance goals
Experience
analysing and interpreting risk / reward profiles
leading, facilitating and advising departments in designing risk management programs within their own departments
managing business risk officers and risk specialists
serving as an advisor to senior management in areas of asset / liability, credit, operational and compliance
Knowledge
legislation applying to the provision of telecommunication services
rate risk, liquidity risk, business risk, investment risk and currency risk
fixed-line, wireless, satellite and cellular technologies
the global telecommunications industry
